Had a great (super filling!!) shared set of dishes with some friends and at an amazing price, couldn't not tip!! Was my first introduction to Ethiopian cuisine and I'll definitely be back. Loved the music and the decor and of course the delicious food!!

This restaurant, though quite basic, is fantastic. I went there with another i had the Doro-Wote and my friend had the Gored- gored. they were brilliant. spicy without blowing the top of your head off, with good portions. The injera bread was good and tasty. for desert, we had the sweet couscous. pearled couscous with fruit. the Ethiopian coffee that was served was very nicely spiced. Over all a great place to eat.
Beautiful food! Great portion size! Super friendly dude in the kitchen! Personal favourite is the eggplant dish! Get it in ya! you will be a repeat customer for sure
Delicious food with incredible taste and variety. Certainly a hidden gem of Moonee Ponds. We visited with a group of friends and were provided a Traditionally prepared array of mouth watering dishes, after some savoury dips with wafer bread as an entree. The hosts are extremely professional and friendly, providing every care to please. Most of the dishes are vegetarian but you can order some meat dishes.
I came here with all small group the other day, and it was all of our first times trying Ethiopian food... We all loved it! There were plenty of vegetarian options for my partner and I, and we opted for the chickpea vegetable dish and the pumpkin dish. They were both absolutely delicious and we have more than enough for leftovers the next day. The owner is also super friendly and great to chat to. We will definitely be returning and recommending to people!
This place is soooo tasty! i recommend, Ye Beg Wot, Gored-Gored, Harissa Lamb, Ethiopian Style Family Plate! thank you so much for a really delicious dinner. the best feed i have had for a long time!
We ordered a lamb rib dish as well as a chicken dish on uber eats. While the quality of the food was decent, one thing that was really hard to believe was that the chicken dish cost 20, yet consisted of...one egg and one drumstick! I’m not sure how they got away with that but it was so disappointing for the price :(
