What an amazing hideaway! Perfect rainforest retreat, we are staying in the 'Figtree Pocket Cottage' it is secluded, breathtaking, clean, comfortable, self sufficient. And what an amazing breakfast hamper, which was provided for us - eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, bread, cereal, jams, milk, juice..the list goes on. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed at the Panorama Cottage in Maleny - excellent accommodation, clean, comfortable, excellent hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay - perfectly secluded location, breakfast provided was wonderful and scones with jam and cream were just perfect to come home to after a day exploring and shopping. Jacuzzi was just the icing on the cake to watch the gorgeous sunset. 100% recommend Hunchy Hideaway accommodation.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful that’s all I can say about this little gem hidden away in the Forest canopy. The staff go out of there way to make sure your stay is amazing and that they did from putting a love heart shape rose petals. I will be going back to this beautiful place thank you Hunchy Hideaway!!

We loved every moment of our stay at the Panorama Cottage. The views, the privacy, the ease of checking in and out were all noted and appreciated. The generous breakfast platter, and foods on arrival were an unexpected treat and the heart shaped scones made my girlfriend very happy. We loved watching sunsets from the spa and seeing the Milky Way appear. It's a quick trip to town with gorgeous little independent stores and galleries. The furniture was very comfortable though a little dated and we are pleased to say that the photos do not do this cottage justice at all. The only downside was no internet access but we adjusted quickly and also the hedge at the edge of the spa was a little overgrown blocking the view slightly. If you're a garden lover be aware that the garden is nothing like the photos. It appears to have been left to it's own devices for at least a year, maybe two but that was ok for us. We will definitely return.

We would have given it 5 stars except for the bed. Very hard, and you could feel the the springs. The figtree cottage was delightful, if showing some age in places. The buffet supplied was excellent, including fresh flowers in the room. Every thing that you needed was supplied including insect repllent. We had paid for 4 nights to celebrate our welding anniversary, but after the third night we were too sore and tied from lack of sleep to even try and relax, so we checked out early only to be told nobody else had complained about the mattress. If they replaced the mattress or added a topper then we would highly recommend this for couples. Our favorite getaway is still the Mouses house rainforest retreat in Springbrook. PS because of the remote location tv is via satellite, so if it is raining you wont get any reception.
