Highly recommended! If your looking for riding school, look no further than these guys! Really lovely and genuine staff, and the instructors are beyond awesome. Troy and Greg have a really good style of teaching, and are both knowledgeable and are passionate about riding, and they will help you achieve the riding skills you need to be a confident safe rider. All riding equipment provided and are great quality, coming from a person without riding gear definitely check them out, Belinda at reception is great to have a yarn with too. Had most of my tutoring from Troy as he's a fantastic instructor (requested), both Troy and Greg have great personalities, funny, and very helpful. Also cheers to Marnie for getting back to me via emails due to work commitments, another great communication amongst the team Thanks to everyone for helping me achieve obtain my open motorcycle licence!
So much fun was smiling the whole time! Both Greg and Mike were awesome! I did the pre learners then less than 2 weeks later did the RE opens and passed with no experience! Just shows how thorough they both go over everything and how great trainers they are! Also met a friend out of it aswell! Will go back for my Rs in 2 years!
After looking at all the Q-Ride providers in the Brisbane area, I went ahead with RideSmart owing to their amazing reviews and great prices. Marnie who helped me with the booking process over the phone was super kind and even offered a student discount. On the day of my R assessment, I met Mike who I must say is a top bloke and amazing trainer. We did the basic maneuvers in the closed parking lot beside the Caltex servo and moved on the open road when Mike was happy with what he saw. Being new to Brisbane, I told Mike that I wasn't sure on the routes and he was kind enough to ensure that I wasn't lost. We went up to Clear Mountain and stopped to look at some fantastic views and made our way back to base. The motorcycles provided were top quality as well. Following my assessment, I completely understood their rating. They have amazing staff in what is an owner operated business and proof of that is the number of years they've been operating for. I'd recommend RideSmart to anyone looking to get on the saddle and experience the open road. Make sure you get Mike as your trainer though! Ridesmart are fantastic. I have completed my pre-learners, had some lessons and my RE licence with them in the past 6 months. Marnie has great communication to keep in contact for availability and details. Doug was my trainer for my RE licence, he is approachable and a great trainer with an insane amount of motorbike knowledge.
No complaints. Nice an smooth process, Mike was awesome too, went out of his way to make the session fun and not boring! Give the bro a promotion.
From the office staff to every instructor, everybody seems to be focused on one thing - making sure that no matter what level of experience you had, they were there to make the gaining of your licence their priority. It was most definitely one of my favourite group learning experiences from the last decade or so. Nothing seemed to be a problem as every problem they had a solution. Had a great time on the course (as you can imagine) and went from basically no riding experience in July to having gained my restricted open licence in December. Can't recommend them enough.
Love these guys, have really enjoyed my time learning with the best, Thankyou so much. If your interested in learning how to ride a motorbike these are the guys to call. fantastic experience.
