Skipper care wants the best for their clients and go above and beyond to accommodate their clients needs. They always welcome feedback on workers and are always happy to have a chat when needed to figure out how best to assist their clients growth. Clients achievements are always recognised and celebrated no matter how small the achievement. A real positive atmosphare and I’d reccomand skipper care to anyone needing support workers.

Participants beware! This company is out to profit off transportation and request 90cents per Kilometre (out of your own pocket), or tells you that you can pay them to drive YOUR car! You are better off finding a sole trader who can make fairer agreements for transportation during a support shift. And Yes, you do still pay for their time driving you in your car! Not great if you can drive yourself!

I am apart of the skipper care as a participate and there's the amazing staff and everybody is wonderful to get along with. I have been since last year October in the program and Bec and Kagan ,Tori and so many other people, Are the most caring supportive people and I'm so happy that I've got to know them.It's such a family atmosphere before ,I came to the hub I was struggling they have helped me in so many ways,They listen and Give good advice,Their humor is the best, I can't thank you guy's and everybody at the hub enough, I get so happy every time I'm there.
We really love having the guys come from Skipper Care and work with us at Lennock. They are part of our team. We look forward to our future continuing with them.
My experience of Skipper Care is a team of staff who are caring and experienced. They are professional and client focused.
When it was time for our son who has Autism level 2 to leave school the result was a high level of anxiety. After doing parent bus tours of Canberra to see what is available for our son I can say it was pretty depressing. Finding the right fit for each person with a disability is hard. This year was a major transition and change that was particularly difficult for our sonn at the beginning of the year. When Skipper Care decided to start their program this year we jumped on board and it's been great for our son. Skipper Care works on living and learning skills. Our son had major spinal surgery in Sydney last April. Skipper Care was there to support him once he got home and back to the program. At the moment he is limited for the next 12 months with what he can do. They are aware of his limitations and needs. We hope in the future our son might one day get a paid part time job. We are happy Skipper Care is teaching our son life skills from cooking to cleaning. They also encourage him to do work experience every afternoon. One of the high lights of his week is working one afternoon at a well known cafe in Canberra. So thank you Skipper Care for everything you are doing to help our son. We have found he is more settled since starting the program and is doing chores at home. The smile on his face when he comes home every afternoon from Skipper Care tells use we have him in the right place.
At least these family members (oh and just to say I am a family member also) are willing to put a name on their reviews. Avenger.....if you have solid proof of these accusations please name yourself so that you are at least in a small way, credible......as it stands, you just sound like a whinging person who has a gripe with this Company. Too many people are aware of the wonderful job Skipper Care is doing in the community and know what awesome hardworking people Kagan and Bec are
