Mitcham to Heatherdale Bike Path

After crossing the lights at Mitcham station you keep to the northern bike/ footpath. The path curves behind the park and beside the railway line. It has a gentle slope downwards to the bridge which will take you over the road below. Beware at either end of the pedestrian/ bike bridge as there is water running over the path (if it has been raining) making the surface slippery for bike riders. There is a gentle slope that goes up to another pedestrian/ bike bridge that takes you to the northern side of the railway line. The path has a fairly steep decline before you arrive at the set of pedestrian lights that take you to Heatherdale railway station.
