Went today with paper work in hand and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and efficient the process was. The lady at the front door is very friendly and welcoming. She treats the customers very well and explains all the procedures to each person. I only waited a few minutes and was sent to the next available teller. I was treated very well, had everything explained, was entitled to a rebate on my driver’s licence (though was not there for that) and it all was handles professionally and quickly. The staff at this centre (Mirrabooka) are to be congratulated. It is a busy centre and the staff work very hard to make the process easy and effortless.

Department of Transport office in Mirrabooka, clean, friendly and efficient. Been here a couple of times now and have always had great service. The staff are incredibly efficient, and also helpful. Even for things which are outside what would be expected normally they work with kindness and swiftness. When you need reliable efficient service from the DoT, this is a great place to come to.

Avoid this DoT office at all costs. It is worse than a third world country. You are made to line up outside in harsh weather. No courtesy for the elderly, pregnant women nor ladies with little babies. Even third world countries will show some courtesy to the elderly and kids!!! Have more staff or upgrade your facilities to accommodate the needs of the community.

Absolutely disgusted! A sign on the door says due to covid restrictions, no more than 40 people are allowed inside this establishment. The rest MUST stand outside in a queue in 38 degrees with no shade or offer of sunscreen or water. This is INHUMANE. There were elderly and people with children and prams all having to do this, not even a seat offered to them. The front doors were being physically locked an unlocked by one staff member allowing people to enter. The staff were unsympathetic, sarcastic and spoke over me when I said that it was simply not right and unfair. I was told by staff “you should see it when it’s 40 degrees, we hear this all the time” and that they have asked for shade yet none has been provided. This is not the customers problem, the customers health and safety is your priority, wouldn't it make more sense to hand out masks and allow everyone inside provided they are wearing them. What you are doing is wrong, no matter how you justify it. A formal complaint will be made.

Generally pretty busy but seems to have reasonable ticketing system taking photos for Google Maps here is difficult as there’s lots people that don’t understand

To "prevent the spread of COVID19" customers are forced to queue around the corner. People are standing much closer together than if they were allowed inside and being processed slower putting more people at risk for longer. Many of DVS' services are still not available online or by phone. There is not after hour form submission box. Be smarter.

If you have a PDA test and meet an Indian guy named 'Jyal', you are guaranteed to fail. His attitude is the worst, and gives you pressure non stop. The guy is dead silent and he's always frowning and is in a bad mood. His instructions aren't very clear and needs to learn how to pronounce some of the words correctly. It's very ironic how he asks you if you speak English as a first language or not, because clearly he DOES NOT. He is known for not passing anyone depending. The person clearly does not enjoy his work, the manager of this place has to do something about it! P.S. The receptionists are always nice, but sadly I can not give more than a single star because of this guy.

This 5 stars is for Jane at the front door/reception. What a friendly, welcoming and happy person!!!! I sat down whilst waiting and just observed her interactions with people, what an absolute asset to Mirrabooka DOT
