hopeless website doesn't even have a logout option and last ring purchased was evaluated at and sold to us with evaluation certificate as having 8 diamonds and 1 sapphire, after a professional evaluation of the ring it was valued at 400 less than the evaluation given by pickles SO BUYER AT YOUR OWN RISK! they don't care what they sell as long as they sell it!
I've bought a few things off pickles, some good deals and some very disappointing damaged items. The low rating is mostly because I've been sent other people's invoices with their information (name and address) which is a bit of a privacy issue for me. It's happened twice now out of four purchases.
Sent me the “best example” out of a range of bikes, as I couldn’t inspect in person. Picked out an absolute dog, with a cracked engine casing.
this company really needs to understand that the customer is the main reason they exist , every experience now with this group has been poor they are super unfriendly , staff in car salvage are aggressive and rude specifically when one has to recover items left behind after an accident , they are not a good representation for the insurance company that drops the car off for in this case the NRMA. , when buying from them , they add on more charges than the items is sold for , like credit card debit fee , an item that you bid on like for 200 ends up becoming 240 after all the charges have been applied , yes it is in all the terms and conditions and yes they are a long established auction house , but seriously think before you buy from them, because the experience can really determine the future shopping
I had a good experience visiting the site, the staff were helpful, and they showed me the salvage bike I was after for inspection. They were more than happy to chat and help me understand more about the processes of bidding as well. No complaints here.

i went to pickles to pick up my personal item after car accident but the reception lady was VERY RUDE and i can see they need more training to know how they can talk to the customers
