This review is only for the takeaway window as we didn’t dine in. We arrived at 11:30 am and were told that they are in between service (breakfast-lunch) so no food is served. We were however told we could grab a bite at their takeaway window which we did. We got egg and bacon roll and sat on the seats out in the back garden. They were delicious for a quick fix. On our way out, we took away a slice of carrot cake from the indoor cafe that was delicious. There is also an art gallery where you can buy arts which I’m not sure if it’s temporary or permanent. I don’t necessarily agree with stopping the food service on a weekend, at a popular tourist destination, at a time when people usually have brunch; but who am I to decide.

BOOK IN ADVANCE!!! We wish we were told this before travelling down to Mornington, we actually googled where to eat in Morington and this place came up first! We still enjoyed our stay. We ordered takeaway coffees and hot chocolates and had sandwiches and toastie. So, even though we missed out on eating inside and tasting their delicious meals we enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the garden area and homewares store. Definitely worth a visit, please book to avoid disappointment. Staff are very friendly and happy which is a bonus!
Everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken pate was exceptional. Highly recommend the pate.
Arrived at lunch time on a Sunday without a booking. The place was very busy and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. We put our name down for a table then to pass the time did a wine tasting and looked at the local produce. We were seated in no time. The tasting was really nice, there was no pressure. The food was fantastic and the staff helped with recommendations. Definitely stop in it’s a beautiful place with amazing staff.
Fantastic late lunch in early autumn, faultless food and service, would highly recommend.
Great vibe, beaut combination of the things you want.. great coffee's in the sunny backyard, formal dining or some wine tastings from the locals
This is a real gem..artwork is awesome, garden area so peaceful and pretty..coffee great and lots of treasures inside..
