An absolute waste of my time trying to talk to anyone. You have better customer service at a Waffle House at 3am

My experienced today 50/50 I was the first applicant with my daughter.I will gve 4 star still.Security check they very nice. The lady that took our finger prints.Shes also nice. The asian lady that interview us.The way she ask she's nice. But she didn't even check what document's I have or how much money I have in my account.Even our itinerary didn't even check.Nothing!!!I have morethan enough for our 10 days vacation supposed to be.I even have property here.I got full time job.I have enough annual leave.I have my 3months payslip and a letter from my company and I earn really good.I have my Car.My children my life here in Australia.Or maybe because i just look really simple today but i don't look like home less person. Maybe she thought I cant afford to go to the u.s. our vacation in the u.s territory is genuine its a family vacation and we deserve it after this covid. But she didn't gve my children a chance to experienced a holiday in Guam and see the UNDERWATER WORLD THE TARZA WATER PARK ,THE ZIPLINE, THE RIVER CRUISE ETC.That makes my daughter really sad the whole day today. She didn't even know how to tell her best friend that we can't go.She was very excited to take photos when we get there.Shes just 12 but she's doing really good of her photography. We travelled Asia already.I even brought our travelled photos. But that lady didn't even check. I hope she's gonna do her job properly next time.please check people documents. just don't judge by their looks or what country where they came from. Her decision of refusal is wrong judgement really.without checking

We had a really positive experience at the consulate in Melbourne. We got there at about 9.05 for a 9.30 appointment. Security, documents check, cashier, interview - it was all really smooth. Please bear in mind that a lot of the reviews below are circumstantial and reflect ones personal experiences and could be because of ones visa outcome. I read a few reviews before my appointment today and it had played on my mind a little, so I just wanted to get my experience on here so there is a good balance of views. If one is thorough on ones paperwork, background and legitimate in their application, then there should really be nothing to worry about. Be polite, respectful and it’ll be reciprocated.

Surprisingly, it was a positive experience dealing with the consulate. Everything was done within 60 minutes (will be different depending on the time and day). A very smooth and easy interview.
