I love there animals prints and the taxidermy in this is a place it is uniquely designed to let you feel your vibe. The Carlton club is an athletic staple of the city nightlife with a happy safe atmosphere good for beers and wines all the time and fantastic food menu to stretch your neck around

This place is a hidden gem. The name suggests a hotel style pub but far from it. So many areas to immerse yourself and take in the fantastic vibe and atmosphere. Includes a large balcony overlooking Bourke street with city views. Take the stairs up a few more levels and the rooftop offers another retreat capturing a palm tree theme with Hawaiian style bar hut. Well worth the effort. I took advantage of the happy hour specials on an evening where the weather was quite warm and balmy. The perfect scenario for a beautiful evening with chill music playing in the background and complimented by beautiful company. Needless to say, my date was impressed with my choice of venue.....haha

was expecting a lot different from photos on the web. Its quite small, city views of the tall towers, stayed for one drink. had a quick look in the inside bar which look a lot nicer but unfortunately didn't have time to stay - will check that out next time, but will give the roof bar a miss, wasn't my scene

Such a fab find with this hidden rooftop bar in the city. Love Melbourne’s hidden gems. Had a super tasty espresso martini surrounded by palm trees and pops of colour.

My friends and I had an awesome time dancing here last night. I had an unfortunate experience with a guy grabbing me inappropriately as I was leaving and when I told the security guards they immediately found him and threw him out with no questions asked. They said that kind of behaviour is absolutely not tolerated by management. What an awesome management and security team - thank you so much for taking a stance and doing what's right!

The bar was good but the only problem was that the smokers lounge door was open N the whole bar was filled with second half smoke.

The booking system is really bad. There's no online booking system so you either have to email or call. My group and I emailed and didn't get a response for almost three days, and no one picked up the phone when we called. We got confirmation on the same day we wanted to go out, which isn't ideal. It didn't matter anyway, as when we arrived, the staff apparently didn't get the booking. They still sat us when we showed our email. The staff are generally really nice and friendly, the food is okay, nothing fancy.

Not a bad place to get drunk with a massive group if friends. Not a place to go on a date and have a chat. Scream, shout and get drunk sums it up for me.
