They try to charge your credit cards for bills before you even get the bill. (I don’t remember writing them a “blank check” when I signed up with them.) Even when you pay your bill on-time the system does not seem to be updated so they phone you asking for bills already paid. Power companies in Australia are not great (as a industry).

NOT happy with Powercor. As an electrician I have no choice but to work with this company. They now have an econnect online portal for there area. So i have to lodge paperwork with the retailer and also with power cor through this system. To book a job through the system we need two accounts. One for the company and one for the electrician. Very frustrating drawn out process. On top of this their charges are high.

No notification of 2 planned outages of several hours each! How are they even allowed to do this?

I made a phone call regarding some problem I experienced. The customer service rep was nice and passed me to some "manager", who was RIDICULOUSLY RUDE. She possessed absolutely no professional knowledge and did not solve my problem. All in all a total waste of time. One star is Google showing mercy as I can't rate lower. Be thankful.
