This must be your first stop when visiting Melbourne to ensure you receive all the information you need. Centrally located at the Melbourne Town Hall. The volunteers and staff provide insightful information. Their knowledge and customer service is exceptional.

This visitor hub used to be called the Melbourne Visitor Centre and was located at Federation Square in a building that consisted of a top floor and a basement floor, consisting of the information service, travel booking service and souvenier shop. Since 2017 Dec, construction began on the Melbourne Metro new tunnel the information service, travel booking service and souvenier shop were asked to move out of Federation Square and the information service is now transformed into the Melbourne visitor hub located at the Melbourne Town Hall. It is much smaller than what the Melbourne visitor Centre was but still keeps all brochures relating to Melbourne and regional Victoria. With very friendly volunteers from the City of Melbourne in their britely coloured red uniforms and vast knowledge of Melbourne and Regional Victoria, the Melbourne Visitor Hub is the place to visit. There is no question that they cannot answer.
