My mum and I visited this restaurant when it was super busy. Despite this, the service was excellent! The staff were super attentive and just lovely. The food was also excellent. We started out with the guacamole and it was incredible! I had the roast duck for mains and it was mouth watering. My husband and I went to this place on recommendation by some friends. We did the banquet (69pp) and really tried to like it! We were unfortunately disappointed - it was an overall flat meal, undercooked sides and hugely lacking on flavour. The dessert was lovely though. The awkward seating layout and set up added to a less than ideal overall dining experience. I expected an exceptional dining experience for the price we paid. The service & staff were friendly.
Everything I have tried on the menu has been great. Great food, great drinks. Some seats are better than others but if you get a view out of the window it's pretty good. Friendly and professional staff who were genuinely helpful. A nice but not overly formal atmosphere. The one restraint in Melbourne I do not mind paying the premium for at all
Delicioso! What more can I say? Tacos? Si. Mole? Si. Margarita? Si. The food was amazing, couldn't ask for more flavour. The drinks were beautiful and packed a punch. The staff were incredible, speedy and attentive. The space was beautiful, while the ambience made the experience unforgettable Will return 100%
Nice place tucked away on the high end of Collins st. Staff was attentive and very friendly. They have a small selections of beers but a great selections of cocktails. Food was good but not mind blowing amazing.
We had a set lunch menu with the Cocktail Banquet pairing added on. The food was amazing and there was no issue at all with making changes to the menu to accommodate dietary requirements. The cocktails were incredible and the staff were all lovely. We even sat up at the bar had a couple of extra cocktails after our meal and had a nice chat to the bartender, James, who gave us some tequila education. We had the nicest afternoon and couldn't recommend it highly enough. We will be making frequent visits back!
Mamasita is a place that borders fine dining and casual dining; a little expensive but has a laid-back atmosphere, nice bar and an open kitchen. Food is amazing, especially the tacos. Recommended for date night :)
