When you see the full cake display at Laurent, it's impossible to keep walking. The cakes are so beautifully presented and well worth the price! Highly recommend the Framboise Tart and chocolate croissant.

Always the most beautiful cakes and a great spot to grab a takeaway coffee before business meetings. High standard and always friendly staff! Excited for when this shop reopens!

Poor customer service. Couldn't even be bothered to greet customers with simple sentences such as hi, how are you I had to ask them where I can order Even after that, still no hello I just got my cake and came back home because I just moved in to next building. It's so close and nice cake, but I don't wanna go back to that branch again Slice of cake was beautiful but still so annoyed by poor customer service.

I'm not from Melbourne. I'm not from Australia. But I was traveling in Melbourne when one of my companions was celebrating a birthday. It proved to be difficult to get concierge at the hotel to locate a suitable cake and that's where Laurent came through. With a few shops in the CBD, I was able to triangulate the location of the perfect cake. Yes, it took getting mixed up and going to another location, but the folks at my first try called around and got me what I needed. As for this location, I appreciated the atmosphere and the variety of delicious diversions.

My first time here. What’s worse than a bakery with dirty tables at 14:00, middle of business hours. You walk in to sit in a rubbish and nobody bothers to come and clean it up. This was my first impression. I don’t need anything further from here.

Laurent is a beautiful French patisserie. I love stopping by for a cup of tea/coffee and a cake to relax mid a shopping spree to get my second wind. The cakes are delicious and I highly recommend trying them they are worth the investment. I do enjoying the coffee. My only feedback is the customer service I would expect that the service would be better considering the prices. The staff do not seemed educated on the cakes and are not inviting and personable when serving. Regardless of this if you enjoy desserts I recommend giving Laurent a visit you will be satisfied.

A Really Nice place, just happened to walk by and had to drop - something I dont regret. Good coffee, sweet and savoury nibbles. Could understand Why some say it’s pricy here. Cause I guess it is, but from a other perspective: bought a cappuccino, salmon ciabatta and a berry danish for under 20. Which is pricy but st the same time «cheap» When you know that you would not Get this many items for the same price back home (Norway). Everything tasted Good and the staff was friendly. Hungry When I came and full When I left. Recommend this place if you like French pastry (the danish was the perfect balance between not to sweet and sweet enough).
