What a terribly run department. No Empathy In These terrible times. No understanding or real help. They make you feel Unbelieved and they don’t seem to be able to look outside the square and even entertain the idea that things are a little different currently and rules ideas and processes should take this into account. Zero compassion in this department. As this is an electronic review I’m deeming that this gets to you unlike your mail. I wish I could fine you and give you zero stars!

The only place closed right now on the city. This place is closed for covid reasons but every other place on the city is open by now... reason? I think they don’t want to deal with angry people. Like me. I’m angry right now. But they can just hang out the phone and never solve your problems, this is ridiculous!

Fines Victoria's lack of respect and communication during this past 12 months borders on negligence at best and deceit at worst. I've awaited a review of an infringement since July 2020, and have spoken to operators more than 20 times to find out the progress of a fine review. My fine amount continued to escalate without any response, and when i finally heard back, my opportunity to contest was removed. Take the money!

Robbing us from our hard earned money since 1999. Its clear fines for speeding at minuscule amounts above the limit do no affect driver safety with modern cars safety feature, braking technology. The fact that the police have made this a viable business to increase revenue for the government make it clear we do not need to pay these fines. Fight! Fight for your right to dispute all fees, fines and charges. We must obey the law and be safe on the roads but this is not about safety purely it is a revenue driven business. A fantastic business at that.

Have been trying to log onto fine vic website for around an hour now (after receiving a 'Penalty Reminder Notice' without actually receiving the original fine - always great) but to no avail. Loving the "The specified URL cannot be found" message that pops up after clicking on EVERY LINK. Have also tried to log in on my room mates comp. Please send help! By the looks of the reviews on here, maybe it's time Fines Vic received a 'Penalty Notice' and pay us?

Nominated another driver for a fine several times, and called them over and over to check the progress. They keep telling me they can’t find the license, which is not possible as I put in this Victorian licensees every detail correctly. The office in the CBD still hasnt opened despite everything opening up. They just want to drag out these fines and waste as much of you time as possible.

It took them a very long time to send a fine. Not as long as some of them here but longer than necessary. Not a well sorted organisation, I'm afraid.

I visited the Fines Victoria site today for the first time since 2014 and was really impressed with the sleek new interface. Usually on government websites one has to dive down ten different drop-down menus to find the relevant section, but not so with Fines Victoria. It took me less than a minute to pay my debt to society. 10/10 for presentation and service, I will definitely break the law again.
