Not only did he guide us through the facts and the knowledge, the skills and the challenges, he connected with us on a deeper level to help the knowledge stick. He was patient, he was fierce and despite the significance of the exercise, he effortlessly brought a smile to each of our faces. What a man, what a business. I would honestly recommend doing the CPR and First Aid Course. I learnt so much from the instructor (Carlos if I remember correctly ) he was quite knowledgeable and very experienced! He had many relevant and great stories to tell. He gave us a few examples which was very beneficial in our learning. He was also able to demonstrate the tasks which we had to learn The trainer explained things clearly and in a realistic manner. I definitely developed new skills expected from this training and built on my knowledge. I now have an understanding on what to do in case of an emergency. There was a good mix of theory and practical work. I enjoyed the teamwork the most, hands on learning. I would definitely recommend the training here. They were extremely helpful and understanding towards peoples needs and showed respect and patience. I will definitely be returning! Thank you for such a great and rewarding experience.
My employer provides first aid, but I prefer to attend CPR First Aid Training because they are more thorough. This was my first year attending and I'll definitely be back next year. Chris was an awesome instructor: engaging and loved his anecdotes. Quick results too. I've already received my certificate. Thanks heaps CPR! I have already spread the word!
This is the second time that I've trained with CPR First Aid Australia and they're just fantastic. The training is comprehensive without being overwhelming. Our trainer (Mark) made it interesting, relevant and keep us all engaged. I always walk away from those sessions feeling informed but not overwhelmed. The express course (so 4 hours with the trainer but work to be done beforehand) was a great way to do it. I'd highly recommend it....just make sure you set aside enough time to get through it. The online system is clear, well set up, easy to navigate and has interesting videos throughout. I love that my past certificates stay on file...one less thing to organise as I know I can always find it there. Thanks for a great morning, Mark.
I participated in the 30 express refresher CPR course this week. Bruce the instructor was so kind, and informative on the structure CPR should be provided. Although this was a brief overview course, I was enabled to administer CPR on an adult, child and infant mannequin, with Bruce ensuring the correct form was completed, asking questions throughout our practical session to ensure we were on track. I left this session completely competent to provide this assistance in a necessary time in future. Highly recommend, great price too!
Joan, the Teacher was excellent. Lots of stories, examples and great interaction with all of us students. I did the Refresher online and 3.5 hour on location and cannot fault CPR First Aid Melbourne, I have been training with them for the past 10 years. Excellent Training and value.
Training is good and seems to be good value for money. Unfortunately they cancel repeatedly then just book you into another time slot with no explanation. If you try and call you usually cannot get through (out of the 8 times I have called I got through once after it rang and rang for around 3 minutes!). If you leave a message, in my experience they don't actually call back. Emails take days to get a response. I will look elsewhere next year.
