Chilean consulate in Melbourne is yet to inform the Chilean community regarding the October plebiscite. Only 20 days to go and nobody knows where voting is to take place. The web site has no information. More than disappointing.

Takes ages for them to grant visa despite all docs has been provided and requirements are met, plus my partner is already Chilean. I I've applied to visas in Europe, , S Korea, and Japan and it only took a week or two to process my visa. Moreover, they asked an additional doc that doesn't seem to be necessary for my visa application.

Closed, they just open Mondays and Thursdays now. Call them on those days.
