For quality of stock and the diversity of range - there isn't an Antique and Interior's shop at the level Pedlars is in SA. You can see easily that the shops owners must travel widely and also must have the best reputation to sell to - as again, the quality and diversity in the shop far exceeds any other in SA (it is comparable to Chapel St Bizarre and Paddington Antique Market - just half the price.) What is refreshing - is that unlike nearly all antique shops / second hand shops etc. these days who simply get the stock and sell it as it comes - Pedlars still bothers to clean or restore and even service the stock. You get quality - and far from been pricey' as it says at the top of this page - you simply get what you pay for. And if you want quality and you want it to be unique....well.... Always easy to deal with staff. Polite, friendly, quirky - and will make you a coffee if you ask nicely!
I have been a customer of Pedlars Antique Market for many years and always manage to find quality items for myself or for gifts. Now that Pedlars are conducting auctions, my trips to the shop are even more exciting! I am always greeted like a long lost friend and the service is excellent. Well done
You need hours to explore the millions of treasurers in each room of this beautiful two storey building. Authentic antiques with prices to suit any budget.
