Such a lovely spot for a walk and explore. The brickwork buildings are currently not accessible to the public but they are visible and make a great subject for any level of photographer.

Amazing historical site of the Maylands Metropolitan Brickworks. Originally called The Peninsula brick company which was established in 1885. It is now a preserved site which holds the original Hoffman kiln some of the drying sheds a few other buildings including trestles It's a real pity that it is now all fenced off and not used as some sort of museum or cafe or something where people can come and enjoy an admire this history of Maylands Brickworks.
Very interesting historic place. Be nice to see inside and better understand how it worked.
