Check in is very covid safe - just open the Qantas app, and scan in your digital frequent flyer card for entry. The cakes were pretty good and so was the soup. Drink selection (beers: Kirin, James squire, furphy, Moretti etc) was good (I had a gin and tonic) and the wines are plentiful. Good experience with decent wifi. For a friday night, not very busy.
Limited selection of food and drink. Pretty typical for a lounge. Nothing special to warrant a higher rating. Still the food is robust and was quiet when I was there
We went on Tuesday 20th of January 2021 and were greeted by an amazing staff member serving the coffees. The lounge was good but the service is what I would return for. She had an amazing bubbly energy and made us feel welcomed and ready to board our flight.
Rude service, need to teach staff to make guests feel welcome. A smile also helps :)
This is a really nice domestic lounge. It's super spacious, has good views, and lots of seating. Food options are diverse and well chosen, there's even a juicer with lots of produce! The only downside is that the bar doesn't open until noon. That's probably all well and good for business travel, but if I've just arrived in holiday after twenty hours of flying I'm ready for a beer regardless of local time!
Almost as good as it gets as Australian domestic airline lounges go!
I went to the lounge during COVID times so it was pretty much empty. The staff was super nice, food delivered to your table, nice eggs benedict, peace and quiet.
