Urban Rec Australia Reviews | Rating 5 out of 5 stars (8 reviews)

Urban Rec Australia is located in Marrickville, Australia on 22 Cook Rd. Urban Rec Australia is rated 5 out of 5 in the category sports club in Australia. Urban Rec is the new way of playing sport. We are here to provide our members with the best ever sports and recreation club; you can experience league nights, end of season parties, charity runs, and weekend adventures. There is only one goal in mind, and that is to be active, be social, and have some fun. We are a sports club, but what makes us different? We play sports on week nights, we don't steal your weekends for training, and we don't take ourselves or the games too seriously. For us, it is really all about FUN and the social aspects of playing sport, get out there, be healthy, meet some people, and have a great time doing it. Simple. You will not only be rated on your skill, but also awarded 'Rec Points' by your opposition for how sportsmanlike and fun you were to play. Rec points will also be coming your way if you elect to be a social bunch after the games.

Even for a total rookie like me the touch football comp is great fun and a real highlight in my week. Plus the staff are awesome and it's brilliantly run. Thanks guys!

Searching for the best recreational sports league in Sydney? Look no further than Urban Rec! I played in a multi-sports league in North Sydney and it was a tonne of fun every week. Incredibly social and just a great time.

I've been playing a variety of different sports with Urban Rec and they are seriously awesome! A company that finds a way to bring people together (either expats, people otherwise new to Sydney or locals trying to branch out their social circle) in the form of recreational sports. So many to choose from (and many different locations) and a strong emphasis on being good sport and most importantly having fun (for any level from beginner to advanced). And the best part are the social experience and post match drinks and chat after the game. As a non native Sydneysider, have met most of my closest friends in Sydney through Urban Rec and have nothing but great things to say about them and their experiences!

Fun place to play. Raj and the other chill guys from urban rec elevated the already fun flag football experience to higher levels.

I love Urban Rec - it has honestly changed my life! Thanks to MultiSport I have tried sports I never thought I could play, made some awesome friends and just really enjoy the whole experience. The hosts are super fun and genuinely want you to have the best time. I highly recommend Urban Rec to anyone that is looking to get a bit more active while also being social and having a good time.

After a few seasons of playing flag grid iron with Urban Rec i can honestly say it's a can't miss experience. It's really geared for fun and enjoyment, so be it a new comer or a skilled player, you're still likely to enjoy yourself! The management are really down to earth and personable which is very refreshing and enjoyable. The communication has always been great regarding cancellations and schedule changes and its a very reasonably priced way to enjoy some social sport with your friends. I encourage everyone to join. It's great exercise and a good laugh. Cant go wrong with Urban Rec!

Few organisations can claim to have had a more positive impact on Australian social sport than Urban Rec. Before UR I was unable to feel anything inside but after the last few years participating in their Pyrmont multisport league I have been able to foster close relationships with players in my team and the wider league. This is all due to the amazing hosts that spend their time entertaining and coaching while still maintaining fair play. Policies like pub nights and “fun points” encourage competition but ensure the first priority is that everyone has a good time. Different and sometimes abstract sports keep things interesting by allowing players with a variety of skill levels to be put on an even playing field each week while trying something new, getting sweaty and having fun.
