I had an idea of what I wanted to buy and Jules was incredible. He picked out the parts, sanded it all back and made it to the size I was after. He did such a wonderful job. I'm very happy with the piece and the price was amazing.
Bought quite a few things from here over the years . If you want that retro funk you will find some thing here . Amazing to see how how well Julian restores the furniture . A few of which are center pieces in our home . Not sure about the negative reviews . I think some one has a agenda . Will keep coming back . Too many cool pieces that take me back .

Julian Simmons Who is a conman and the business owner of Retro funk & junk is a thief and a liar that has ruined and damaged property of an elderly man aged 83. Left all the furniture in the driveway without any guilt or offering to compensate damaged goods caused by Julian or return property that does not belong to him. Strongly do not recommend Julian to move your precious belongings.
Jules is a friendly and genuine guy, passionate about furniture and giving old pieces a new home. This business is a vocation for them, and you will work that out within 30sec of meeting or talking to him. He’s taken several pieces of furniture that my late father made, and lovingly restored them as only someone with his passion could. I couldn’t have hoped for a better home for them. Highly recommended.
Amazing finds. Exceptional customer service, the owners go out of their way sourcing authentic, unique and quality products for me. Must visit.
Please do not consider allowing any of your loved items to be bought by Retro Funk and Junk. See a dealer who knows what they are doing and actually has respect for things. My widowed father in law having to move out of his cherished castle after 30 plus years was devastated as his things were tossed around, scratched and smashed through rough handling, forceful moving and unprepared for job- lack of tools, lack of team to carry out task. Such a heartbreaking experience to watch an incapacitated old man have his treasured memories of his wife and family treated with such disregard. Impatience and lack of tact at a time our family was in most need of someone to just do their job.
