Unprofessional manager. worn-out equipment with expensive price. Any gym in the surrounding areas is way better than this.

This fitness first is full of broken equipment, cracked, and damaged machinery and facilities. How about you spend the membership fixing the gym instead of putting it in your pockets. Horrible.

Fitness First Maroubra is great - huge gym, friendly staff and great facilities. Looks like a lot of the negative reviews are about contracts which is a head office issue - the Maroubra team have been great in my experience

Very poor experience from management when I tried to cancel my membership. Best friends when they're signing you up, very unhelpful when you're trying to cancel. Once this is sorted I will never be back and will never recommend fitness first to anyone again.

Open the gym till 10 pm and you will get more stars. For now 1 star. I shouldn't have to drive to Willoughby which is currently open 24/7 and has steam and saunas operatonal.

After 10 years with membership, I can't believe how disgusting Mark has treated me today, Very poor customer service. They don't want to have you as a customer but they only wants your money. This place is a mess, after a couple of calls during the covid-19, I have still been charged. Today I had enough, I called to maroubra fitness frist to cancel my 10 YEARS membership and for my surprise, what I got was, "you have to pay one MORE MONTH TO CANCEL" ....HAHAHAHAH THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. BE CARFUL IF YOU ARE PLANING TO SIGNING A CONTRACT WITH THEM.

The gym itself is ok but the equipment is very often out of order. The worst is the staff whereby you feel you are putting them out of place when you check in. The personal trainers are rude and arrogant with the exception of a couple. The tattooed PT is good when he takes your money and the next day pretends not to know you. I have defected to Titans at coogee and the difference is unbelievable. I would not waste my money on any PT’s in Maroubra.
