Great decor, great menu and the food was delicious. The restaurant was really busy, but the service from our waiter “the pommy guy” as he called himself was great. I definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back. There’s a lot more on that menu that I want to try.

We visited here on 11th April and I have made contact twice (once on a feedback form and also via Restaurant email contact. This was to no avail. We came in for an early dinner and my son had the fried rice. He ate about 2/3 of it and I finished the last 1/3. It made us both really sick. My son worse than I (he ate more and less body weight). The hospital has confirmed it was Bacillus Cereus food poisoning. My daughter and husband were not sick (thankfully) as they didn’t eat any. We were not wanting a refund and were happy to not leave a bad review but you’re lack of care and communication is completely unacceptable. All we wanted was to make sure that the batch of fried rice was NOT going to be served to anyone else. Made the start of our holiday a nightmare. We will never return.

The food has never let me down at Junk and I have been a lot! I had the Morten Bay bug mini burgers and OMG so good, I could eat them everyday. If you like fresh bread and some good bugs, these are for you I think those were a special so get in quick!!

I highly recommend Junk Maroochydore, the atmosphere, the service and the food and cocktails were awesome. Everyone enjoyed all the food in our group, everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered pretty much one of everything on the menu! We will be back again, thank you to all of the awesome team.

Nice(ish) food. Extremely loud and hard to hear our group talking. I had crispy pork belly and there was NO crispy at all. The salad was delish though and had a flavour explosion in your mouth. A couple of ordinary wait staff who looked like they really didn’t want to be there. Would I recommend - No. Would I go back - No

We loved our lunch at Junk and will definitely return. Our online booking was confirmed by email and also a friendly text. The service was friendly, fast and professional. The food was delicious, everything was so fresh and we loved the innovative flavours such as the coconut caramel sauce for the calamari. I also loved the freshly made soda. We were impressed with the quality of the food, fast service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Had Lunch there: Calamari, Korean Chicken Wings, Loaded Fries - All tasted GR8! (The fries could easily feed 3 or 4 as a "share" plate with other dishes ordered) Staff were friendly, prompt & helpful...Beers on Tap as well, which was a bonus, plus they do Cocktails...will be back!
