Cute little vegan place with some lovely looking salads, the guy who took my order was very friendly which was nice! There seemed to be only one person working for a while, two at the maximum and at peak lunch time, the wait felt really long (20-25 minutes for a salad!) but they did give me a cup of sparkling water for the wait and the salad was gorgeous! Would highly recommend the pad Thai salad - lots of filling veg, generous amount of tofu, peanuts and coriander, overall very filling!
One of my favorites in the World. Great design. Great product. Good vibes. BYOB for night time get togethers! Girls here were a lot of fun!
Love all the Bowls! My absolute fave are the ‘warm bowls’. Lovely little laneway spot to sit and eat as the world passes by.
Beautiful plant-based salads. I've tried a couple of different ones but my absolute favourite is the ceasar. SO delicious
Great food but the service is abysmal. The staff are too busy chatting and laughing amongst themselves and hanging out with their mates to care about the people they are serving. Some of the rudest and most dismissive hospitality I've ever experienced. Not just once either, this has happened on multiple occasions. Won't be coming back.
I am so happy with my experience at Verd! I ordered the OG macro bowl as recommended by a staff and was pleasantly surprised. The bowl itself is an adventure for those who love and are learning to love veggies. Each spoonful was a surprise with the teriyaki almonds, sprouted Beans, or tempeh. The size seems daunting but once you’ve finished you’re left wanting more. The ambiance was also perfect! I went right after lunch hour and got to witness the calm after the storm. The music was at just the right volume and the seating felt perfect for an afternoon catchup with a colleague or friend. Finally I loved the small treat with dark chocolate which left my mouth wanting more! Will definitely be back to try some more bowls at Verd.
Wow seeing a 1 star review on here is madness, a few places have gone backwards in Manly but Verd has stayed strong in my opinion - the staff look genuinely enthusiastic and connected to customers. The food is usually really good, it's better to eat fresh I hope a few 5*'s can drown out the 1* because this is a good staple place with vegan food in Manly.
