We bought the high tea for Dad on Father’s Day from The Gables. It was delivered to their front door by someone from The Gables that Mum said was beautifully dressed in uniform and very friendly. Mum and Dad had it for lunch. They got dressed up, got out the ‘good’ tea cups and tea pot, put a cloth on the table and picked some flowers from the garden. Mum and Dad thoroughly enjoyed it. They said it was absolutely delicious. They also said there was plenty for them to share. There was even enough for them to leave a cake each to enjoy after their afternoon walk.
