Popular for peace and quiet, rest and relaxation. It is also “Home for Kite Surfers”, so if you’re a water baby, love the surf and enjoy the waves but don’t particularly enjoy being around mass crowds. You’ll appreciate this landmark for sure. Sophisticated housing nearby and only a short walking distance from amenities. The hub of Surfers Paradise isn’t all that far either. Enjoy.

Main Beach, is a great place, to visit, experience the expance of the awde, uncrowded beach, practise Tai Chi & Qigong ( which I teach), and take in the sea Air!

Very friendly lifegard, is a safe place to swim n surf.
The shade provided by the sheoaks is fabulous and the number of benches, generous; however it's a shame that the walkway is not continuous along the beach front and provision needs to be made to accommodate all the electric bikes.
Beautiful beaches, lots of lifeguards along the beach so there are plenty of spots to swim safely.
Best and closest to Brissy Southside.
Well as always you can't beat the sea breeze and the friendly atmosphere, we always have breakfast at the Southport lifesaving club it opens at 8 and you can smell the bacon from the beach , yummy
