I placed a fairly large order on the day before Christmas, and the guys at Evolution went above and beyond. Despite calling up only half an hour before they fully closed over the holiday period, Caroline organised for Matt to deliver the equipment to a friends house absolutely free of charge, and even cut me a discount for Christmas. Just received the final item that was placed on backorder, and I couldn't be happier with their service. Cannot recommend them anymore.

REFUSED TO ACTION ON WARRANTY FOR DEFECTED ITEM. I logged my warranty claim with Greg the shop manager as this was his guidance and advice, his reply was yes I will log this and get this sorted. To this date he has still not completed this and/or done anything about it. Refusing all knowledge of ever dealing with me. ACCC states that the customer is not responsible for warranty issues. The contract is between the customer and where ever the purchased item is from. Do not let this store try to lie to you and tell you, they you have to go direct to the manufacturer. I purchased an exercise bike from this store. Over the course of 2 months it became faulty and was unusable. I called the store to use the warranty and was told "we don't give warranty to customers, if you want it fixed you will have to call the manufacturer yourself" The shop owner also told me "we didn't force you to buy the bike". I've offered to take it back to them and show them the faults, but they want nothing to do with the item. My last conversation with the store manger ended in him saying "we have changed names so good luck claiming or taking us to court" I'm pretty sure this is how they do business, changing their name to void any warranty claims on the rubbish end of line stock they sell. The customer service is disgraceful and they have no problems not answering calls and emails for warranty claims. I have 20 emails to this shop to which the manager has replied, but the owner says I have never contacted them. They will lie through their teeth to get out of a situation when a customer needs their help. After the they have made the sale to you, they become very ignorant. Currently going through VCAT with a strong case with advice from the ACCC who are also deeply concerned with the stores inappropriate actions. There are plenty of other fitness stores to shop at in the area which are always willing to help and will accommodate any warranty claim.
