A ' No frills' , comfortable, friendly , clean, reasonably priced resort with magnificent views. We were a family group of twenty-five who gathered at the pool then the bbq finishing up singing together around the fire pit taking in the stunning sunset. The kids had their own disco at the outside dance floor surrounded by fairy lights. We appreciated the late checkout too. The staff were amazing. We're definitely going back.

Location is great, very close to most wineries around this area. Knowing the restaurant will be in operation soon. Looking forward to seeing this new service.
The WORST accommodation we have ever been to! We stayed in their loft, which had dead ants and flies all over the floor, the mirror was absolutely disgusting - toothpaste and splashing all over it from previous guests, bin hasn’t been emptied whatsoever, spiderwebs around the whole room. The room didn’t even have a fire alarm connected! And also we paid 190 per night! Absolute joke. DO NOT recommend this place to anybody!

Ever watch faulty towers? Will never be back! Drinking water was brown and smelly. Cocroaches, spiders throughout the entire apartment and believe it or not a giant wasp in our bed! Absolutely insane that this place could be named a "resort". You could not pay me to stay here!!! Friends of ours didn't even stay the night as they felt so uncomfortable.
Not a resort at all, nothing like pictures they showed and expensive for what it is. We will never come back to this place.
I'll preface this review by stating I received a full refund (which was very much appreciated) on the same day; but still think others should be aware of our experience. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, along with various dead insects and moths. The dust, on the floor and the couch, had my daughter and partner sneezing throughout our stay. To say it was an uncomfortable environment would be an understatement. A deep clean is definitely required. But I'm not sure the dust was the worst part of our stay. That award goes to the lack of (that is, there was NONE) hot water. Initially, when the hot water tap was turned on, no water came out. (The owners addressed this after about an hour and said we'd have hot water within the hour) However, after waiting over an hour, and turning the hot water tap on again, only cold water flowed. After another call to the owners, they 'reset' the hot water and we were offered to use a shared bathroom if the reset didn't work. Well, guess what, the reset didn't work and my partner went to use the outdoor shared bathroom. That experience also didn't go to plan, as mid-shower, the water (while hot) simply cut off. It didn't end there, after a sleepless night (see mention of dust above), my daughter went to have a shower (hoping that overnight the hot water reset would have provided hot water) and again was left with freezing water. So it was off to the shared bathroom for a shower to get ready for the day. As I mentioned, the owners were responsive when I requested a full refund for our stay (arguably the one positive experience) - but I still thought I should share this experience for others to consider when looking to book a stay at Vineyard Hill Resort.
The room was terrible, no privacy at all in the bathroom as there was no door. We left and stayed somewhere else. I would not recommend this place at all.
