I always leave my lovely Golden Retrievers with Acacia Lodge Boarding Kennels when I am away. Debra is very kind and helpful. The kennels are clean and spacious for large dogs like ours. They look after the dogs with love and care.
Wonderful family owned business. They have immaculately maintained enclosures. The owner is a former professional Greyhound breeder. She uses her experience with dogs of all ages, and it really shows. My Service Dog had to have a weeks stay at short notice. The owner is a DTE Aussie lady who adores dogs, she put me at ease once I saw the enclosures, heating, blankets, air-conditioning, CCTV and intercom with the dogs. She is able to respond at short notice to any of the dogs needs. 110% recommend you try this boutique Boarding Lodge. Your dog will be made to feel like one of the family!
We've been taking our beautiful girl, Roxy, to Acacia Lodge Boarding Kennels for 6 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. The care and attention that Deb gives our Roxy is wonderful. The facilities are clean and expansive - there's even a huge paddock where Roxy can run around and play catch and retrieve. We love it there!
I recently boarded my two dogs at Acacia Lodge and was extremely happy with the care my dogs received. Importantly for me was that Deb allows you to view the kennels and play areas prior to boarding your animals and also discusses with you any dietary or other issues that are of concern. The kennels are clean and the dogs are housed within a secure building that can be air conditioned for the dog's comfort, whilst the grassed play areas are covered with shade cloth. It was evident on my return that my dogs were well cared by the way my dogs interacted with Deb and she with them, they seemed happy and healthy. Deb was able to give me a good rundown on how they were during their stay and it seemed evident that they had grown quite attached to her. On a previous occasion I boarded another dog at Acacia who unbeknownst to me (prior to boarding) had an underlying illness which became apparent during the time he was at Acacia. Deb was wonderful. She contacted a Vet and my contact person immediately she saw there was a problem. It was obvious to me that she keeps a very close eye on the health of the animals in her care during their stay and will endeavour to ensure they receive the best veterinary care should they need it. I definitely would recommend Acacia Lodge.
Acacia Lodge Boarding Kennels are absolutely fantastic. The love and care they showed Satchi was amazing; it's been like leaving him with close trusted friends. And they have taken such good care of him from an energetic youngster to a getting older slightly deaf dog! I've been to other places but now I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. Thanks so much Deb!
