Went there to get my Janome embroidery machine fixed. I rang them after 2 weeks to get their opinion. They said they would ring me next day. Never heard from them. I rang them I week later and they hadn't looked at it yet. I was told they were "under the pump". I rang them again after 6 weeks, nothing! 7 weeks & 2 days later I was told I would need a mother board 1000 and repairs of 299. I asked could we work something out by trading in my machine and buying another from them? "Yes, I'll ring you back today". Nothing!!! After 81/2 weeks of them having it, I went to collect it; it was in pieces still. I flipped out when they wanted 149 for the time they spent on it. I had no choice but to pay it. They delivered it to me at home after 9 weeks. I went to Sewer's Delight at Browns Plains and they bent over backwards for me. It was all fixed within a week as it was only the pulse motor that needed fixing. It cost me 120 for parts and 170 for labour. Stay far away from Qld Sewing Machines, they are crooks for charging for nothing and obviously don't know what they are doing.
Bad Bad Bad service, Took my machine there for a simple repair it would not reverse. After 4 weeks I had to contact them and ask where is my machine, they said it was being quoted ? 4 weeks ? next day they called me and said it was going to cost 295, I declined and brought it home there was no physical issue with the machine so I had a look and found that the reverse lever was seized from lack of use, a few pushes and pulls and some WD40 and the machine is working perfect. Stay away from them they are an over priced RIP OFF, never going there again, the technician wanted 295 to do this what a joke.
I haven't been there, but I do order things from there for my machine.
