I rang American Muscle Car Parts Down Under on the sly for some advice on a birthday present for my partner who has a 1968 Mustang convertible which needs some TLC. It turned out I was speaking to the owner Ed and after a chat, he asked me what I thought was the most important thing on the long list of items I had to go on. I told him the roof top wasn’t working properly and from what I gathered, needed a new motor that drives the roof - these guys had one in stock and it will sure make for a great surprise. Ed was very friendly to deal with and was more than happy to talk to a complete novice.
I was urgently chasing a new steering box for my 69 Mustang and rang Ed the owner - he had one in stock on the shelf and was good to deal with. Price was OK and was able to refer me onto a good local mechanic to install the steering box. Very good service and wish them all the best - I will be back as he is local to me.
Must say the best service I've had when trying to chase parts for my Windsor 302 rebuild. Ed didn't stock the part I was looking for but has been chasing his contacts for me and always keeping me in the loop. Will goto Ed first from now on. Thanks for all you help.
