James is fantastic. Tilbrook Estate is THE Hipster winery in the Adelaide hills. It's rustic, authentic, and a unique experience that no other winery in Adelaide can match. The cellar door is in a shipping container which is just awesome. They're also constructing a new cellar door that is going to house weddings with 360 degree views. Fantastic and highly recommend to Lobethal locals, and the younger wine lovers of Adelaide.
Who knew a shipping container could be a cellar door!? Beautiful scenery, including the vineyards and hills. Amazing Pizza's. If you want a casual afternoon with a bottle of wine and a pizza overlooking the Adelaide Hills BEST view, then James definitely provides a good weekend lunch away.
Some of the best Chardonnay I have found in Australia. Meet the winemaker and try a wide range of red, white and sweet wines. Very good value and good pizza too.

Unassuming cellar door winery visited today with partner Chris when you arrive however chatting with the owner James he is a friendly fellow enjoyed his company explaining each wine as we tasted it lovely wine to taste then we had the platter which has top quality food and also a lovely pizza. Look forward to visiting cellar door when it is built at the winery. Nice wine
