I saw Dr Yeoh when I was 18. I was misdiagnosed, told to run away from home and told that "he wouldn't be talking much cause he talked for so long over the years it's difficult for him to do so now" I am 36 years old now, in full time therapy and medicated. My mental illness is debilitating. I was treated as a whingy teen. Other thearpists I've seen have said that he does not have a good reputation in the field.
Avoid at all costs. Doesn't even let you explain anything and literally cut me off saying he didn't have time to hear that and he had to teach me about how the brain works. He spoke to my family about my consults even though i never gave him permission which has now ruined my family. He also spoke to another doctor that was not the referring doctor even though i gave no permission and was never a safety risk. Wasted a lot of time with him only to feel much worse. He has completely ruined my life.
Definately recommend Dr Yeoh to everyone i know. He has helped me so much with treating my Anxiety Drug free! Over the last six months i have improved all my ways of thinking and he has changed my life enormously. Thanks to Dr Yeoh i can live a happy life.
Would NOT RECOMMEND!!! Walked out feeling worse then I walked in!! He told me I had no hope recovering on any medication. Prescribed me the worst medication. I lost my job from it and gained 7kg!! Which took me a month to lose! He needs to be shut down!!!! He spent half hour speaking about himself!
My partner sees Dr Yeoh and he has been amazing. Very rare psychiatrist who gives his patients time to listen to them. His practice is not just about medicating people but actually working on peoples skills to learn how to manage their anxiety and how to get control overover it. He spends hour and half with my partner every week giving him the right skills and providing therapeutic treatments. I have seen amazing improvements in my partner within three weeks of seeing dr Yeoh. I would definitely recommend him to other people!!
Dr Yeoh is not a good mental health professional in my opinion.
