I have brought both of my kids to see Dr Kadappu for the past 5 years and I have found her to be very kind, professional and attentive to them. She has recently discharge them from her care and so I thought it would be appropriate to comment on their management. I too, work in health and I can appreciate and strongly value her opinion and management of my children. Dr Kadappu has a very modern, conservative and balanced approach. Once I actually understood the diagnosis and the reasoning for her approach, it all made sense. I would not hesitate to recommend my family and friend's children to her.

Mixed up my details on first operation, called for second operation asking about my diabetes, I don’t have it ( looking at wrong file?). Turned up for 2nd operation and lady in waiting room given paperwork to attend but not booked in for operation, ( managed to “squeeze her in”) but was on the verge of being turned away. Went for final assessment, the air conditioning not working properly so they swapped rooms and people who turned after my scheduled appointment started going in ahead of me, 1 hour later I left without seeing the doctor ( limited time parking, other commitments) End result 10,000 paid, no final assessment. Medical staff were professional, admin is a train wreck.

I been there for my daughter to see Dr Subha Kadappu. I am a doctor as well. But I was surprised to see that Dr Kadappu spent less then 2 minutes with my daughter. She also advised me to change the glass. I later took her current glass to optometrist & they confirmed me that she is correct power in her current glass. I found Dr Kadappu very unprofessional. Will never go back again.

Have dropped my mum off early this morning 45mins before her appointed time at 8.30am for her eyes, then head off to work. After 9am I receive a call from my mum saying she is still waiting to see her DR, and that the receptionist has now quoted her 410.00, when she has already been quoted 200.00 and something dollars over the phone with her. Knowing my mum, she takes the exact amount of money to pay for her treatments, only to find out she is been charged more when your there. She doesn't like asking me for money, but of course I am here to help her out with anything. Receptionist has given miscommunication to my mum, and has not explained it properly of whats going to be paid for, only to find out once you get there. You have one job, stop wasting peoples time!

I was admitted by Dr Shweta Kaushik being referred by a local optometrist who noticed high eye pressure readings. Dr Kaushik have examined my eyes and diagnosed me with glaucoma. I was prescribed with Travatan to be taken consistently every day. Since then, I decided to visit another glaucoma specialist for a second opinion as the glaucoma diagnose put me under very stressful situation and I used Travatan medication throughout three months. I had an opportunity to have an eye check with a doctor overseas who advised that glaucoma has been misdiagnosed due to the fact that I have thick cornea which gives false positive results for high eye pressure readings. I went back to Dr Kaushik and advised her about the second opinion I have obtained and showed the scans. Dr Kaushik did not provide comments on that and advised that I can decide whether to continue with eye drops or not and she recommended to continue regular check ups due to high risks. This led me to ask for 3rd opinion and I attended an appointment with Dr Clement at Fairfield Eye Surgery Clinic who confirmed that I have thick eye cornea and therefore it may look like I have glaucoma, however I don't proving that I was misdiagnosed by Dr Kaushik. Long story short, I just want to make sure that no one else experiences the same, as being diagnosed with glaucoma at 28 is very distressing.

Life changing Experience!!! I've been in glasses practically my whole life, was recommended by a friend as I was struggling with leisure activities (gym, swimming - wearing contacts to swim is a very bad idea). I had the free lasik consult with the medical staff, and then booked in to see the doctor. (All done in less than a month of making up my mind) Dr John Males is amazing, and all the staff were professional and very helpful. I was nervous for the actual procedure but his calm professionalism quickly put me at ease. He narrated the procedure the whole way through, he even made a few jokes to entertain me. Thank you so much Dr Males!! Now, one day after the procedure, I can drive without glasses. The medical staff even cleaned my eyes for me because I was scared to touch them. It was all worth it!!! Highly recommend :)
