Spent 1h 50min to renew Medicare card... Customer servicer Anna dropped us off from queue and didn't apologize at all. Real customer service champion!
Receptionist was very friendly. So was the person who served me. It's good to know that if you're nice to them, you'll get nice back. The wait time was as expected, which was 45 minutes but that was what the receptionist told me it was going to be when I asked.
I have never witnessed not only one but two of the rudest staff members I’ve ever come across. The person in charge of the line started an argument with an old aged man for walking towards the wrong place. Secondly I am a teacher and arrived at Medicare at 3.15, the earliest time possible, and as I got to the front and informed the staff member that I need to renew my Medicare, his words were simply ‘no, you need to leave, come before 3pm’. No sorry or an explanation, that is it, what terrible, disgusting customer service you have. Something needs to change.
Where it says closes at 16:30 read "If you are not there before 3pm you will not get an appointment" I'm sure its not the staff's fault, its bound to be a busy service. However simple communication on the website "No appointments after 3pm" would save wasted taxi bills and lost working hours
Waited to renew Medicare for 1h30m I was told I was third in queue and each person could take 40 minutes. I left and went home. What a joke.
Unbelievably long wait times. Literally don’t plan to do anything else with your day if you need to visit
