Love that Footy Field, great history with both Subiaco Lions Football Club and East Perth Royals Football Club. It might be rusted because of the Ball Water. But Good Green Football grass.The score board is helpful. Great viewing to watch footy, friendly staff there at both the Subiaco Lions Football Club and East Perth Royals Football Club club house.
What a fine oval, Leederville Oval is! The last footy match I watched here, live, was in 1975 When the oval was home to West Perth Football Club, which then, was called "The Cardinals". Times change and now the club is home to both Subiaco Football Club and the East Perth Football Club.
One of the traditional locations of WAFL Football. Originally the West Perth Football Club home ground, now housing 2 Clubs - East Perth and Subiaco. Reasonably good facilities on Game Day, with each Club having Member facilities (non-Members welcome) on either side of the main Grand Stand ... with a great fast food & drink outlet near the Subiaco Social Club area. You have to search for a good coffee though !!! Unfortunately the cool coffee van set-up that was there pre-COVID is no longer . Maybe the Co-Tenants could facilitate a top quality operator with a mobile set-up ... Lots of people love a good coffee ... along with a good burger, hot chips, rolls ... and a a beer or wine or both ... the reliable footy food.
