We recently used Uni-Industries to remove and replace our old, broken solar system with a larger 9kw system. From their office staff to their installers we were really impressed with the professionalism and service we received. Not only did they do a very neat job, consulting us on the position of the panels, inverter and visible wiring, they also wired in our electric hot water system to heat during the day. We have no hesitation in recommending this Queensland family owned company.

This is kind of a biased yet unbiased review but it’s genuine none the less. In a professional aspect, I’ve worked with Uni-Industries for close to a decade. I’ve been privy to their amazing family values and have seen their staff stick around for years and years and years (not common for the solar industry) This year though, I became a customer of Uni-Industries and got solar out on my own roof. Ryan, Ben, Hayley, Nicole and the team were nothing but amazing during the install. They left our roof and yard spotless and the install job was perfect. They took the time to design and east/west array to suit my roof and maxed out my system based on my specifics. The office team have communicated well and I’m pretty darn glad I trusted them for my own home. It’s rare to get a solar company that is still family owned and operated, even rarer that they only use their own team for installs and the same team has been installing, servicing and repairing for decades. These guys were awesome! I brought a 3.5kw Solar System off these guys about 6 months ago and they were perfect. They talked me through the whole process and were never pushy. I had such a good experience that I got them back to install some Air Conditioners around the house. They will be the first people I call if I need anything electrical in the future.

We chose Uni Industries for our initial Solar installation based on their many years in similar industries as a family company, good feed back from other customers about their reliability and a good efficient response to our enquiriy. We were not disappointed, in 2011 their service and efficient installation for the system we chose was first class. Four years on, we sought an upgrade which today saw a prompt installation by a highly trained team which had our system up and running within 3 hours. A massive storm last week required cancelling the installation, rescheduled to today the team arrived on time and had it installed without any fuss. We can honestly recommend Uni Industries for .....prompt and personal attention to whatever system you might be considering; their knowledge of the industry and in our case, recommending benefits of which we were unaware. In light of some sad stories we have heard about some other suppliers' quotations and installations, we are very happy indeed to have chosen Uni Industries.

The system has been installed now for exactly 1 year and I'm very happy with it's performance so far. My system has made over 8000kW and that is with shade covering some panels which I hope to fix very soon. It has certainly made a difference to my electricity bills.

My husband and I installed our solar system in 2011 with an un-disclosed company here in Brisbane. We had problems with our inverter and found out sadly that the installation company was no longer in business. After a few phone calls to local companies, we decided to enlist Uni Industries to replace the inverter. As it was a 5kw system, they installed us a new 5kw Fronius (sp?) inverter which allowed us to keep our feed-in tariff (it has a 10 year warranty as well). Along with the new inverter, they also updated our panels which gave us an increase overall and with this we got a new warranty as well. They asked if we had any contact with the original installers as the DC isolator was actually a recalled item (Avanto was the brand I think) and Uni Industries wore the cost to replace this as the company was defunct. The only thing preventing me from giving a 5 star rating was the fact that the installing team left a few scraps of wire on our grass and left their shoes on when they were in the house heading to the roof cavity.
