Not too crowded for Xmas Nye period.. rain water on tap.. BBQ facilities are available but out of gas at the moment.. very quiet and the road in is ok for SUV and 4wd towing a van
Lovely place tip go camping or just spend the day out in nature!
Great place to camp. Park anywhere, kick back and relax, it's away from the highway and not easy to get into without prior info. That makes it good.
Great place to stay for a few days
Love it !! Huge and beautiful forest. There is a free camping site ,very quite and with toilet. It's possible to do different off road in the park.
Coopernook State Forest (HQ) has a large, grassy camping area with all types of rigs and well-behaved dogs welcome. Toilets are usually clean but there is no water or taps and no Dump Point. It's a lovely area and very quiet. The entrance road is a bit rough but well worth it. It's only a short drive into Taree and the supermarkets. Coopernook Hotel also has a camping area at the rear, great meals and it's only 4km from the Forest Camping Area.
We love hiking through the Coopernook Forest, the campground looks like a great place for camping , great for a free camp lots of RV ,s there. Toilets .
