Very nice bit of bass country, completely kneecapped by a hilariously rough 1.1km trek to the water. There is huge potential for the lake to be great for bass and saratoga, but the access needs to be completely overhauled.

I love the walking trails and just being out in the bush, the wildlife is amazing. I saw a huge eastern brown snake on one of the trails. So be sure to watch out where your walking. Hospitals are kinda far away from this location so a serious bite could turn bad real fast. Other than that please come and enjoy the scenery. It’ll be well worth it.
Little known gem. To the west of Brisbane. Get out adventuring. Enjoy this place with some friends.
Very picturesque
Lovely area, great for walks but might be best if you do the lake circuit with bicycles. Otherwise, it is a great place to come and spend a few hours. Bring plenty of water as the picnic area only uses tanks.
Nice big park and a good collection of walking trails. The dam wall is a decent hill so come prepared!
No swimming, no boating, no camping. Is a drink catchment area.
