Ate here last night, ordered the 3 course for 80 per head. Everything was absolutely delicious!! My partner and I enjoyed our meals and table service. For fine dining, the serves are generous so definitely felt we got our monies worth. If you’re visiting the area or Macedon Ranges like we were, I would recommend you book a night out here

We had a lot of expectation given this is rated by Good Food and apparently has 1 hat. The service is fantastic and wine list is also very good but the food was something that while present ok tasted like ingredients were combating each other and did not pair well at all. Some of the individual flavours were so rich, they didn't mix at all with others and left me feeling quite nauseous. The entree portion sizes were very close to main portion sizes (some might like this) but it left you close to full when mains arrived. It is a shame because the effort is clearly evident but the end result was not pleasant in the tasting.
I love the vegetables here, all tasted fresh and very delicious The other food I think was fair enough good but nothing too impressive The cooking ways here also very healthy for me, nothing over oily or too much added unnatural sauce feeling The environment is simple and lovely The stuff here also nice and friendly A good place to enjoy my lunch time here It’s a place deserve to come and try!
The meal we had tonight was the highlight of our trip to the region. The atmosphere upon entry is warm and welcoming. We chose the 2 course set menu 60pp (was originally going to be 3 but we were stuffed after the entree and main - such generous servings!) with both of us deciding on the scallops for entree and the beef for main. Absolutely exquisite food - well balanced and the quality of the produce was amazing. Courses came out promptly but we never felt rushed. Service was present but not intrusive - no "How are you finding your meals?" while we were eating which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommended - fine dining without the hefty price or pretentiousness.
Extraordinary food in large serves with the menu using a lot of local produce, backed up by sensationally efficient & friendly service by Stephen. Not cheap, but very good value & a really enjoyable night out. Well worth a visit when you are in Kyneton.

With COVID restrictions in place many hospitality venues have shut up shop. However many have evolved and are providing ‘eat at home’ options. It is easy to support a local business that is doing it so well! Great food and at a reasonable price. Well done Source Dining.
Exceptional local, seasonal produce are used to create a wholesome yet refined dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly and the dining room a lovely mix of old Kyneton exposed brick and Danish furniture. The menu was varied and the food delicious. Highly recommended for a value for money lunch. The lamb and the beef cheek mains were fabulous.
