Fresh energy juice from the sun !!!! Looks like they built dedicated infrastructure to get all that power on to the grid. Some panels are fixed looking towards the east rather than north, other panels face west. Most residential systems are preferred to look directly north. I think the reasoning is that by positioning the panels towards east or west you can sell power to the network early morning or afternoon evening when north facing solar cells dont produce that much power. Power at midday must be much more abundant thanks to existing systems and thus power at midday might not make a solar farm much money. Catching morning light and evening light must be more lucrative to sell to the network. The great thing about this type of solar is that its solid state ( no moving parts to wear out). The thing to watch out for is dirt on the face of the solar cell which causes a high resistance and hot spot on the solar panel). Solar doesn't need to transport the energy to the power station, doesn't need the massive manpower of many other types of power stations. The future might see battery storage to capture power when there's an over supply ?
