I rang the station today for some advice as I left my handbag at home with my wallet inside. I didn't notice until I got to work, Silly innocent mistake. I was really nervous about driving home with out my licence and wanted advice on what to do if I was pulled over on my way home for any reason. I rang Katoomba police station and the officer was really understanding and gave me some really helpful advice such as digital licence ( not available yet in our area) once available online I will download so I never have to worry if I forget my handbag again. I only wish I had gotten his name, I do remember hearing a Greg or Graham. Thank you for your kind approach I really appreciated your help.

these guys have always been super helpful. I pop in now and than for an emergency beacon for trips in the Mountains. Well worth it in case...

I am from the United States travelling and got lost from my tour group in the scenic world of blue mountains . My phone was completely dead . I walked in and police officer Kirk was quick to find a charger for my phone and also was courteous enough to drive me to the restaurant where my group was . Thank you so much katoomba police .
Watched a helpful officer steer my e-harmony date to a lovely Indian restaurant.
Have always found the police in the area to be very friendly and helpful, staff in the station were able to give my friend advice after an event that had him fairly shaken up.
