Arthur was terrific fixing my mower. He knew precisely what to do, and his price was quite reasonable. And the best thing of all was that in order to put it into the trunk of my car, I had to take it apart. Arthur saw that I was having difficulties, and offered to drop it back to my home the following day after it was repaired; he did it free of charge. I'm happy to recommend him to anybody with a mower problem.

Arthur is highly knowledgeable and helpful. Being very busy over the warmer months make sure you ring ahead to book your mower in for a service as there's not enough room for him to take off the street drop offs. Range of reconditioned mowers, plus brand new, and service for your own mower.

Arthur provided great customer service. He made a new chain for my hedge trimmer in less than 24 hours. Great value!

My experience at Leura Mowers has been a positive one with the owner, Arthur, spending time with me showing me various second-hand refurbished mowers for sale at the shop. I chose a good quality Masport with an extended warranty and after sales service. The owner provided honest, good service and I would recommend the mower shop.

Impressed with Arthur’s interest in doing a good job for his customer. He was upfront about repair costs and explained the work that was done. He is confident with his work and gives a 6 month warranty for his repairs. He loves his work. The money spent on the repair was well worth it.

If its' just average work you want done on your equipment, then don't go to LMR. Arthur's approach to his repair and servicing work is well above average and a rare thing these days. If you care for and respect your equipment, then Arthur is your guy. He is extraordinarily particular and thorough with the way he approaches everything (check out his restored motor bikes and old 1963 ute out while you're there). Arthur re-built my quality Hitachi whipper snipper today and it is running better than new. He takes a lot of pride in his work. He is honest. If something is not worth repairing, he will tell you. Arthur - have you read the seminal novel by R. Pirsig - "Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance": “If you’re going to repair a motorcycle, an adequate supply of gumption is the first and most important tool. If you haven’t got that you might as well gather up all the other tools and put them away, because they won’t do you any good. Gumption is the psychic gasoline that keeps the whole thing going. If you haven’t got it, there’s no way the motorcycle can possibly be fixed. But if you have got it and know how to keep it, there’s absolutely no way in this whole world that motorcycle can keep from getting fixed. It’s bound to happen. Therefore the thing that must be monitored at all times and preserved before anything else is the gumption.” P.S. make sure you follow Arthur's orderly booking-in protocols - don't just show up. Call him first to book in etc. His booking protocols are on the web site. Posted by Steve Buddle, Katoomba
