Beautiful swimming enclosure with almost ten picnic tables. Even on the sunniest days unlikely to be very busy. Short ferry ride (15minutes) from redland bay marina using the translink system.

Russell Island

Quick trip from Russell Island to the best beach of all four islands. Karragarra definately has the best beach. Well worth a visit. But nicer to stay in Holiday home on Russell Island because there are more services available.

The beach is netted. Trees for shade shower to rinse off after swimming. Picnic tables, gas bbq's parking and toilets. Close to ferry terminal and you can witness spectacular sunsets..

Nice park and beach. Electric BBQs and a sink with running water are available. Everything is undercover as well. Picnic tables are set up overlooking the beach with great views of the water. There is a enclosure for swimming but it is only useful at high tide. Low tide it is high and dry!
