Good place to swing and relax....no fire and camping allowed :-(
An oasis just south of the suburbs. Tucked away in the bend of a river. This Sandy Beach on the banks is a hive of activity during the summer.

Lovely peaceful place. Great swimming, canoeing, fishing, sun bathing. Can get busy though. 200 species of birds have been recorded here so please leave pets and drones at home and take litter home and recycle. Talk to the Rangers if you have questions.
Beautiful location with gorgeous water and views. The sand is white and clean and the water was warm. Great place to have some beers with friends or family. The walk up took a little effort but that's entirely on me.
Quiet and peaceful. The water is safe to swim. Going there around 4 to 6 PM is the most comfotable.
