Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great service. They have great experience with the gear and can make suggestions and recommendations based on the playing style you are aiming for. Can also recommend the music school they operate.

My son had done extensive research on a range of guitars that he liked and had been in to JCM to check them out. We went into the shop together to go and pick out what he had chosen. The owner came over and spent an amazing half hour with us going through the different guitars, their particular sounds and the craftsmanship involved in making them. Absolutely incredible service, amazing knowledge of the background and history of the instruments and he really and made us appreciate what we were purchasing. It took the whole experience from transaction to something much more meaningful. If you want superb service, excellent knowledge and a unique buying experience, this is the place to go. His prices were exceptional and he even threw in a bag. We'll be back.

Came to pick an acoustic as I am early into learning. Dan was really helpful to pick the right guitar for me and answering my questions

Out of respect for the owners, and being a local business with good stock, I gave three stars. However, upon arrival old mate behind the counter told me I couldn’t take my tiny shoulder bag in and that Im not to touch anything without asking first. I understand the apprehension with expensive stock as I’ve spent three years working in a guitar store. But that’s no way to handle it, I felt very unwelcome and unwanted as a customer, basically wondering around for a few minutes before grabbing my bag while big son behind the counter watched me leave. Won’t be returning

I went in there recently as I was after 2 things. The vibro king anniversary and the om28. Had money to spend as a little treat to myself. Simo was quite rude and in no uncertain terms told me that if I was really really going to buy the Martin then I could try it. With the vibro I also asked to try and and was met with a sigh. Maybe it’s because I was wearing shorts and thongs but never judge a book by its cover. You’ve lost a customer, thank you Simo and my business too. I have now acquired the 2 items I was specifically after from another store. Update: Simo now works at Kosmic music. Hope he doesn’t damage the reputation of that place now.

5 stars, late November/early December 2019 the guys were letting me be with my browsing. Customer service was also perfect. bought new strings, capo and guitar stand from them.

Normal day of the week, within advertised open hours and its locked up tight. How can you shop somewhere that's always closed.
