First off planning a wedding from around the world is very hard especially if you have never even visited the country or city!!! My husband to be was stationed in Canberra in January and I arrived in May, from Washington DC, so I had to plan a June wedding from DC. We knew that we didn't want a large wedding with a lot of frills. I researched different options around Canberra and I originally fell in love with the pictures on the website after further reading on the Canberra Small Weddings site we decided that they offered everything we needed in one package. They made the whole wedding planning easy and non-stressful. Steven and Michael were great to work with and really made our day special and one that our friends still talk about. It took us a week to look at the pictures and Omg they are beautiful!! Michael did such a great job!!! He captured all our special moments. I am so excited to show them to all of our friends and family from all over the world. Thank you Canberra Small Weddings!!! We are extremely happy with the service from Michael and Doug (standing in for Michael the photographer!) at Canberra Small Weddings. We had a small wedding with 6 guests that we streamed online to our friends and family further afield and it could not have gone more perfectly. Michael's marriage piece was spot on - just the right amount of heartfelt-ness (I'm sure that's not a word, but you know what I mean!). Doug was a terrific photographer, put us really at ease and was very creative and fun with his shots. The process leading up to the wedding was easy and relaxed. The flowers at Flowers with Love that they recommended were also terrific. Definitely recommend getting married with these guys!
We initially planned on a wedding with over 60 people at a fancy resort and changed our plans last minute and could not have been happier. Canberra Small Weddings took the stress out of our day and it was such a lovely and intimate ceremony. Michael and Michael were extremely friendly and professional and I would reccomend Canberra Small Weddings to anyone looking to get married. A memory we will both never ever forget. Thanks guys!

We had originally planned to jet off to Hawaii and get married overseas, but due to COVID, our plans did not go ahead. We were really disappointed, as you could imagine, but we were still keen to get married! We contacted Canberra Small Weddings to see if they could help us plan our wedding, and in four short weeks we were married! I cannot recommend Michael and Michael enough! They went above and beyond to help us plan our special day, and had so many great ideas to make it even more beautiful, in spite of all of these COVID bans in place. I even had my dad walk me 'down the isle' to my now husband, which just made the whole day. It was the most memorable day and we have both Michael's to thank for that!

Steven and Michael were fabulous! The service was highly professional, thorough and incredibly friendly and warm. Nothing was a problem for Steven and he made us feel so relaxed. Michael & his photography was simply amazing - the professional and calm way he took the photos made us feel so at ease, and the end product was nothing short of brilliant. We can not recommend Canberra Small Weddings highly enough.
