I have jumped many, many times over the years, firstly with other operators, and then always with WA Skydive Academy, as they have consistently delivered safe, courteous and fun service and I highly recommend them as a premium skydive company in WA.

We surprise our son in law with a jump for his birthday. We were given all the in and outs risks information etc etc via email for ua to lool over and sign and pay deposit on acceptance. We were pleased to report that there was such a high safety regards to him and the planes and tantam jumper....the checks after checks from plane to instructor was amazing. We were told it was all weather permitted. We were so lucky to have awesome weather, so turned up have instructions from instructor was full on and second to none service from the owner, esther the pilot, tommo the tantam instructor...! We have since been back 3 more times in the last 2 yrs and plan on doing a surprise again for another family member...i was sooo happy with these guys and literally have no problems in trusting with our lives...! I have reviewed this companies back hrpund before i made the ddecision to choose going with them thoroughly and what stood out for me was the importance of safety their attention to stop pull out or refuse to jump fly etc regardless of bad reviews calls etc etc for the customers own safety. And not to mention WA skydiving has had NO fatalities what so ever! And the pilot that i soon later found out on second jump was infact the owner and i fpund him to be very matter of fact and didnt pull any punches and so to speak wont piss in ya pocket, because at the end of the day he has been in the industry over 30 yrs and prides himself on integrity truth and safety pf all concerned. Just search his name and see how he single handedly avoid tragedy few yrs back....and this why i would remmend wa skydiving hands down and always remember, there are to sides to every story...as i have seen some of these reviews and are applauded, as this saddens me, but ill never use anotjer company for all skydiving requirements including exclusive training course taught by the owner himself...! Tjanks again wa skydiving its always a blast...!

The 2 star rating and reviews on Google are a mystery to all of us here. The WA Skydiving Academy has been operating since 1987 and enjoys a safety record second to none and a 5 star customer satisfaction approval rating on Facebook. 1 Google review posted a year ago gave us a 5 star approval but no commentary and yet 3 reviews all suddenly appear around the same time frame and all are negative, defamatory and even personal?....were we really having a bad hair day/s or is there something more to this? We do know De'Arne is a dissatisfied customer that failed to appear for here booked jump and then made several threatening phone calls because we withheld her deposit as per the terms of her contract with us. She informed us she was going to smear us on social media unless we gave into her demands. We do not live in a perfect world, planes do breakdown from time to time, weather does turn bad and staff do get sick, all of these scenarios might lead to delays or cancellations, it is never a conspiracy to upset clients. We will never jump clients if the conditions are not perfect and we will never put commercial gain in front good sound safety policy.

After booking in on 3 different occasions for a Saturday jump in Mandurah I received a call late afternoon Friday with a variety of excuses to cancel, from the plane being broken down to not enough instructors. To which after the third time I received a free upgrade. Great! Up until now it was frustrating but good service. Fast forward a few months and after coming back from holidays I decided to try and book in again. This time I was told their waiting on numbers to do the jump we will call you back before the approaching weekend... a week later I decided to follow up to which I was told they didn’t have the numbers last weekend but I will receive a call the following day regarding this weekend. To which I expressed that I would like at least a courtesy call as I have the option for weekend work. I was told that I would receive a call tomorrow either way... I didn’t. So sure enough I called up again the following week to get the same run around, I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor who was “out of the office” regarding a refund. Again I was told I would receive a call the following day.. once more I did not, three days later however I received a email.. it opened with G’day. I’m usually pretty easy going and casual myself, however as a customer I should not be the one chasing the person providing the service! If I was the boss/supervisor I would also show at least a little bit of proffesionalism when replying to a disgruntaled customer in a timely manner. All I can say is it’s a unprofessional, unorganised company who appear to be offering a jump site that they can’t deliver and make no attempt to solve the issue (offering an alternative jump site at a higher altitude due to the cost difference?). Book elsewhere because you will get slugged a 100 deposit upon getting a refund. (I hope they spend it on training their staff to dial a phone)
