I was taking my family out for dinner here. Firstly: the cost. It was cheap. REAL CHEAP! Then, the most important of all: the food. It was... indescribable. No adjective can fully portray the deliciousness of the food. The highlight was of course the lobster. They even had 5-6 pieces of orange at the side! (Orange with lobster sauce is the best). In addition, the waiter would check with us that the lobster was good enough. It was significantly over 1.3 kg and 1.3 kg was the weight they had promised. Next up: the service. The people serving would smile at you. It was charming! They would talk to you briefly. Also, the people were VERY kind. They opened the door for us and also warned us of the heavy rain and slippery ground outside. (It was dark at night so we couldn't see). Did I mention the Scripture hanging over the counter? No I didn't. I'm a Chinese Christian. I really like that the boss is someone who loves God and is not scared of people knowing about their faith. This restaurant gets 1,000 points out of 10. Smashing. However, one thing is I really recommend that you make reservations as it is usually packed. Unfortunately, I live in Melbourne. I won't be able to come often (maybe once a year) but, please, know that no Melbourne Cantonese restaurant matches this one. I am a Melbournian and I can testify to this. God bless, Matthew

Came into this restaurant last night to ask about their seafood prices as we were looking for a place to eat to celebrate my birthday. The waiter recommended the ginger and shallot lobster with noodles. He took our order then we were asked to pay at the cashier. I questioned the cashier (who I think is the manager) do we pay before eating because normally it's pay after eating, and he replied yes please pay beforehand. We then sat down at a table. Waiters came and asked if we wanted something to drink and to sign into their venue check-in website. When our food came out, it was in a takeaway container. I told the waitress we were eating in. Then we got rudely told by another waiter that we can't eat in because they were completely booked out! The restaurant was only half full! So the issues were: 1. We should have been informed as soon as we entered the restaurant that we can't eat in because the restaurant was booked out. 2. When we ordered, the waiter did not ask if we were taking away or eating in. He wrongly assumed we were taking away. 3. The staff did not try to rectify their mistake even after I told them we wanted to dine in and that we already signed into their check-in. As a result of not being able to dine in and having to take the food home to eat, it ruined our plans for the rest of the evening (we had planned to look around Hurstville's shops after dinner to get a birthday cake). I felt very badly treated as a customer as I pretty much got kicked out the restaurant after having already paid and seated. I've come to this restaurant a number of times over the years but due to last night's terrible customer service I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Honestly this is the only chinese restaurant that me and my family will go to. The food is always fresh, delicious and never disappoints!!! We've been loyal customers for well over 10 years!!

This restaurant is NOT recommandable for vegetarians, the served dishs were flavorless and super overpriced for some steam brocoli on rice. Only good thing was the good affordable selection of wine.
